We were cleaning the purple martin gourds at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Oceanville, New Jersey this afternoon. During this time, I observed 3 monarchs flying around the native plant gardens. Weather was cloudy, high 70s with a northwest wind.
