I came home from a trip and saw my 5 feeders totally empty. My wife filled them up before she went to work and by 4pm all 5 feeders were empty!!! I filled them and witnessed hummers come from everywhere. All 5 feeders were filled with hummers drinking (8 holes each) and with 10-20 birds flying around each feeder. I can guess that there are over 100 here. All 5 feeders looked like a swarm of gnats but they were Ruby Throats. I even rescued an adult male who got stuck in the grass. This is truly amazing, but likely won't last. I did not see the speckled hummer at all. I'm off to the store for the largest bag of sugar they have!!!!!
