I have been seeing hummers every day all season long. I haven't seen a male since about 8/19. I have three feeders, and they have been busy all day today (youngsters I believe). There still appear to be lots of small insects present for them to eat as well. Last year I saw my last one on 9/12 (5 days from now). My notes show that a cold snap had occurred the night before (think it went into the 40's). Nothing forecasted like that through the next week. I will post again a day or two after I've seen my last bird.
