I'm not sure if this is a rufous female or a juvenile male but it kept the other hummers from feeding. It would sit up in the tree and 2 or 3 other hummers would try to get a drink and it would chase them all away. I did get to see it up very close about 2 feet from my face and it didn't seem to be afraid.
