Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/06/2013

Number: 12

It has been an airshow for a few days. It is hard to estimate how many. There have been rubythroated males; black chinned males; plus many females. Very active and do not stay in one place very long. Spend most of their time chasing each other. They feed on the CrossVine and the mixed nectar. Rusty the Rufous is still here! Reported earlier with picture. He leaves for a day or two and then returns. It has really been a treat. My first sighting of a Rufous.
