Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/06/2013

Number: 10

On Friday morning (6 September) at Presqu'ile Provincial Park (Owen Point specifically) there were at least 10, plus a few Viceroys.

Forwarded for Garry K. by Donald Davis who added:

"Presqu'ile Provincial Park, on the north shore of Lake Ontario is an Important Bird Area and also noteworthy for monarchs. Compared to past years, these are exceptionally low numbers for this time of year. How about the approximate 10,000 at Owen Point on Sept. 9, 2010?
