As I was watering flowers around 9:30 a.m., I saw 2 Monarch butterflies come flying into the yard. They settled on my purple butterfly bush, visited the lantana, verbenia, milkweed plants, and other flowers. They were still in my yard at 6:00p.m. As of 8:30 a.m. this morning, saw they were still here. By 12:00 noon, I didn't see them anymore. Evidently, they rested and were ready to journey on. God speed, butterfly friends!
