We tagged 16 monarchs this evening. The roosts were again just 1-3 monarchs but they had moved from the smaller trees, willows, in the lower portion of the creek to the larger cottonwoods, maples and walnuts of the upper portion near the butterfly garden. mid 80's, no breeze.
