I registered one siting just a few minutes ago. When I went back outside I saw two fluttering together in the same flower bed! Now I realize it's next to a mature butterfly milkweed. Although I saw no empty cocoons on the plant, I had been sprinkling it, too. Maybe they'd been rushed into flying by the water shower. After a Monarch-free spring and summer it sure is nice to see them in the fall.
