Still have continual activity at our three patio feeders throughout the day with morning "first call" and evening "last call" activity heaviest. This mornings count of 10 (all deemed females) all at the same time on the feeders is the same as for the last three days. It now has been five days since I last seen a male hummer at any of the feeders. This year I have spotted more hummers than in the past seventeen years, both in total and in males. However this is the earliest date I have ever stopped seeing males at my feeders. There still is a vast array of flowers they like, especially on the Rose-of-Sharon bushes. Will be curious as to activity levels with the upcoming temperatures returning in the 70's down from this past weeks high 80's and 90's.
