I saw a male monarch this afternoon, he was in good condition, nectaring heavy. Haven't seen a monarch in a couple of weeks.
It's been hot, upper 90's & we are in a drought. At my home we haven't had a decent rain since the end of June. Our property is on a lake & blessed to have a pump, my flowers, milkweeds are in good shape.
