A cold front came through this morning so I tried looking for roosting activity...just at sunset (9/12/13) we were able to find 20 Monarchs about 25-30 feet high in an old red pine here on the acreage. Many had settled together while others were still picking their perches...at least we had a clustered group together settling in for the night.
