We've had 2 females everyday/all day for the last 2 weeks. All our males left weeks ago, most females soon after. The 2 girls are enjoying the feeders all to themselves. We have 20-30 all through the summer at our 12 feeders. So sorry to see them go and can't wait for next spring ... I've already bought 2 new feeders! The more feeders I put out the more that stay for the summer. We live on a pond with lots of trees all around us ... we feed all the birds ... especially love the orioles and grosbeaks. We are rewarded when they bring their babies to the feeders to show us. Awesome summer for babies.
