A single Monarch butterfly feeding on the butterfly bushes in our front yard in downtown Toronto. This is only the 5th monarch we have seen in our front yard the whole summer. Even last year we would see at least 3-5 Monarch butterflies per day from mid August to mid September and in years past far more. I am like others in North America greatly concerned that this may be the last Monarchs we will ever see in our front yard.
