Yesterday--all day--there was frenzied activity by multiple hummers at the feeders and aggressive behavior. The temperatures dramatically dropped last night and today. Spotted my first hummer today at 3:30 p.m. Assuming the previous hummers migrated, and this is a new one heading in from the north. Sad to see the numbers dwindling, but happy they're heading fro warmer climes.
