Found one ~ 4th-instar (?) caterpillar in the garden while picking milkweed to feed the other cats. It was crawling on a small mulberry seedling that was sprouting up next to the Texas Milkweed plants, and it was changing direction/moving back and forth quickly, I imagine looking for 'real' food. I took it in for rearing with some fresh Common Milkweed. Amazing how some larvae can escape repeated searching of the milkweed plants; it was just tucked away when I was looking at other times.
