Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/14/2013

Number: 2

There has been, and continues to be, a lot of activity by what appears to be two adult females/juvies. It was chilly last night (~45F) so I brought the two nectar feeders into the house overnight (as recommended by Journey South) and put them back out before it got light this morning -- that way, the nectar is about 20 degrees F warmer than it otherwise would be, making it easier for the hummers to get warmed up. We're expecting a sunny but cool (low 60s) day.
