Female frantically attempting to feed at feeder at 7:30 a.m. Torrential downpour and thunderstorms night before. Made "emergency nectar" and replaced diluted stuff in feeder. She was flying all around the feeder and zipping up to it and hovering, also sitting on the hook holding the feeder prior to refilling. My son saw her later that day.
