Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/15/2013

Number: 4

This is the first time we have had more than one or two hummers at our feeder and in the yard. It appears that there is one male and three females. We usually see them for a few days, a couple of times then the show is over until next year. This year however, we noticed one several weeks ago, then the rest of the gang appeared yesterday. They are busy at salvias, agstache, cannas, and cardinal vines, chasing insects and each other. I am filling the feeder every two days. So very happy to have them passing through.
