For about 10 minutes I watched one brightly coloured monarch flying and feeding on my coneflowers, bergamot, and golden rod. It was a hot, humid day...about 28 degrees Celsius. It was only the 10th I've seen (all singly) all summer in Ontario. Some recent summers I've seen as many as 200.
I've written a letter to our local papers explaining your work and that of Monarch Watch in the hope of getting more 'citizen scientists'
thank you for your work,
