7 hummers spotted at the patio feeders in the early morning close to 6:45am. 4 adult females, 2 juvenile females and 1 juvenile male spotted all at the same time. Morning temperature started out at 48 degrees and moved up to 70 degrees by noon with a slight breeze. activity to and from the feeders was fairly constant even with mid afternoon rain showers. Temperatures dropped back to about 63 degrees with a low predicted for about 48 degrees tonight. Unable to determine exact last call count for this evening as the rain picked up again but at 6:45pm there was 6 hummers for sure spotted at the feeders drinking long and hard. Daytime temperatures are expected to be in the low 70's with night time lows in the mid 40's for the next two days then another warming trend moving in for a few days of 80 to 90 degrees for highs and 60's for lows. Rose-of-Sharon bush still has many blooms and is quite popular with the hummers.
