Before these sightings, we thought that the last hummer had left on Sept 5th. On the 12th and 13th, we had an immature or female at our feeder several times for extended periods. May have been fueling up for the long flight, or perhaps, just enjoying the many flowers of early fall in costal Maine. We re-loaded the feeders for any other stragglers.
