Last of the hummingbirds, female. Noticed different behavior for this bird on 9-15-13. She seemed very active in her search for food in nearby tree tops of sweet birch early this morning with more limited visits to hummingbird feeder. In past birds seemed to spend more time at feeders during the early morning hours with occasional visits to the woods. Last observed around 8:30 A.M. No observations of hummingbirds at feeders remainder of the day. Will continue to maintain feeders for migrating hummingbirds.
