First Monarch seen this season in our Monarch Waystation is an adult female. Initially seen when I drove up in the car fluttering in front flowerbeds with nectar plants. Rested for a while on the Acuba in front of the house then moved to inspect 15-20 tropical milkweed (A. currasavica) I have had ready in the driveway waiting for this day. She rested on one plant for a while then began moving plant to plant and depositing single eggs.

I observed her for about an hour. I hope she stays on the property and lays more eggs!
