Hello bird people,It is wet, rainy, and cool here.I can hear the hummers outside my door still fighting over the feeders. There are about 6-8 still here. All female or juvies. The last time I saw a mat. male was Aug.4th.Had what I assume to be a black-throated green warbler(female) come through.Although the head looked like that of a golden cheeked warbler.Golden yellow face with a black crown and a narrow black eye line.I'll probably never know,I only got a blurry pic. of it.All the trees look tired and ready to go to sleep.Still have lots of wood peckers, jays,nuthatches,chick-a-dees,chipping sparrows, morn.doves,a few robins and the ever present house sparrows. There are a lot of hawk moths, monarchs, painted ladies, skippers and sulphur butterflies. There are only 98 days till christmas! OH SNAP!!!
