I was outside watering my plants when I heard the familiar hum! A hummer blew in, tried to take nectar from my nasturtiums and impatiens, but completely ignored the feeder. Then it flew off as quickly as it flew in. It must have been in a rush to get somewhere warmer fast. We are under a frost advisory tonight!
So nice to see a hummer again so late in the season.
