Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/17/2013

Number: 2

At 1:30pm 2 juveniles/females (suspect juveniles) were observed for 10 minutes or so chasing and then feeding and resting together in a purple butterfly bush. Also were feeding at purple morning glory flowers and nectar feeder.
About 15 minutes later a single juvenile/female was seen feeding by itself for a few minutes. I do suspect the first 2 birds had left and this was a third bird but only saw a total of 2 at one time.
At 6:30pm a single juvenile/female was feeding at the purple morning glory flowers. Again, I only saw a max. of 2 birds at any one time but believe there were 4 different birds present today in the yard.
