Today at recess we saw 1 monarch. It was flying toward a tree by our creek on our playground. It was very hot and the wind was barely blowing. The monarch was there for about 5 minutes. We were observing for 30 minutes. The monarch didn't seem to be heading south. It was at about 12:15 p.m.
