After an inch of rainfall this morning and steep rise in temperature and humidity and brisk wind from the South all afternoon, I checked our grove of trees late this afternoon. There was a total of 13 Monarchs roosting on the north side of our walnut, and fir trees and dogwood shrubs. I tagged 6. Cathy Irvine
