I've noticed several monarchs in the past few days in the central part of Nebraska. Sunday, I was north of Hastings about 12 miles near the Platte River and one was near wildflowers. When I got close, he flew off to the south rising higher and higher until I couldn't see him any more. Yesterday, I saw a couple more here in my yard. And today, I saw one near Henderson, NE about 45 miles to the east of Hastings. I've been watching for a couple weeks, but am just now noticing some.
