Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/19/2013

Number: 2

Still hummers at our feeder. I think there were two today because I heard them chittering. ( my word for hummer talk) I actually only saw one though because they flew into the pine trees just off our deck.. Females are the only young ones here now. Has been in the 30's and 40's at night and a couple of mild frosts but they are still passing through. They seem pretty skitterish so that is what makes me think they are travelers. Supposed to be mild temps tonight and tomorrow night so they might just stay and feed a while longer. I hope.
