It appears that all of the boys and most of the girls have already left, though I continue to see the occasional girl feeding on the salvias and butterfly bushes. But I'm SURE one of my girls came to the kitchen window today to say good-bye to me. She hovered there until she was sure I looked up at her and then she sped off southwest. I hate to see them go, but I know some of them will return to my garden again next year. I wished her good journey - but I'll miss her.
