I've seen hummingbirds at the feeders, but I haven't seen any males lately. I've seen females and juveniles. I don't know if these are the same hummers that normally come here, or migrators making their way southward. As noted elsewhere, they've been feeding like crazy. Also, they haven't taken off when they are about a couple of feet away from me. I did add a bit more of sugar to the nectar to give them more energy.

How can I count the number of hummingbirds? I have several feeders and I don't want to recount the same ones over and over. I have at least 4 if not more. I never see more than one at a feeder at a time, and if another comes in, it chases the other away.
