2 or 3 female hummers at feeders again just after first light. Had 4 feeding yesterday evening. Seemed to prefer larger feeders this morning. Were kind of ignoring smaller feeders with bee guards. Maybe bees were hovering around those feeders or since it was windy maybe they preferred more stable perching platform on bigger feeders. Saw one that might have been injured at some point. She had a brown spot on her back. Didn't seem to bother her and otherwise seemed healthy. Anticipating that the hummers will leave in the next few days if not today. Will be anxious to see this afternoon whether they are still around.
