Saw one female/juvie this morning.
Had two individuals at the same time yesterday evening. At first, they were chasing -- I couldn't tell who was chasing whom. Then I noticed one perching near the feeders and a minute later she was joined by the second bird, who was perched about a foot away! They were both quietly sitting there together for about 30 seconds, and then the chase was suddenly on again!
Yesterday was warm (high 70s) and sunny; today will be even warmer (82F is forecast; compare that to the historical normal, i.e. Average, for today of 69F). Thunderstorms are predicted for tonight and tomorrow, followed by cooler temps next week.
