Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2013

Number: 6

We still have 5-6 females frequenting the feeders. The yellow jackets are very aggressive. I pour clear warm water to try to keep any sugar residue off the feeders. I have two feeders that seem to be dedicated to the yellow jackets and one grape jelly dish that they seem to empty every two or three days. The hummers still seem to still be mostly cooperating in sharing the feeders. I appreciated the suggestion made on this site to make the sugar water more concentrated.
