I released 3 monarchs today that I raised from eggs found near my home. The eggs were found on August 19 and hatched on the 21st. They formed chrysalises on Sept.6 and 7, and all three emerged on Sept. 19. I took them to the child care center where I was substituting and had "Show and Tell" with the 3 and 4 year old classes. We released them on the playground.
