I live in Athens since 1974. I have never seen Ivory-Billed Woopecker in Georgianor abywhere before. So last week, I was tended my garden in the early morning. I heard the sound, and I looked up. The sound was coming from the tree( half dead). and it was the Ivory-Billed woodpecker. I checked my "Bird sound Bible". And the sound matched the same. I fed woodpecker fruit and nuts. We have few woodpeckers that keep coming to my front yard.
