Today I observed 39 monarchs on the beach along the Lake Huron shoreline from 12 to 3 PM. I saw 5 females and 4 males out of the thirty-nine. Wind was NW at 16 mph. September 01-21, I have now seen 315. On average each year, I have seen 346 during same time period 2010-2012.
