On 9/21 a total of four monarchs were feeding at Buddleia plants in early p.m.; one plant near the Lackawaxan R. in downtown Hawley; the other near Lake Wallenpaupack. (Two monarchs appeared at each plant.) When I visit Hawley I routinely observe both sites: since 8/23 I've counted 14 adult monarchs at the River, and 13 at the Lake.
