Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/21/2013

Number: 4

my feeders, which I fill about half full, are being drained within a day or day and a half. I have seen four at a time at sunset so I figure I have at least that and likely more. I do see them eating from the red Salvia plants in my pots which are planted nearby the feeders. The one hummer is defending those salvia plants like the feeder. I have feeders in the back and front of the house so if defeated at one I believe hungry birds go to the other feeder. As I said I see them feeding at potted plants which contain New Guinea impatients, red salvia, regular impatients...also at the bushes of lavendar from time to time.
