Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 09/22/2013

Number: 1

Saw one Monarch feeding on Lantana and searching for a place to lay eggs on milkweed that has been completely stripped by 100s of tiny green worms (no, not Monarch larvae-these things feed only at night and spend the day in a web under the leaf).

I've collected about 12 Monarch eggs and same number of just hatched larvae found on still healthy milkweed.
