From 10 September to 18 September I saw one fresh monarch in our home garden on 14 September, and another on 15 September (same one?). I saw none all of the other days.
THEN today, several very fresh monarchs were nectaring in our garden on Verbena, Blue asters, Zinnia and Seaside goldenrod.  This was the first migratory pulse here at Cat Rock Mountain.   Â
In total, I saw and/or collected total of 25 monarchs in 50 minutes in the garden. I would have caught more except it got progressively cloudy.
