Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/24/2013

Number: 3

34.4 degrees, 7:27 AM, chilly guests start dining in the habitat and visiting feeders and Black & Blue Salvia by the dining room window. Two very round girls playing--so round they are almost as big as chick-a-dees :) Black and Blue Salvia and Salvia Van Hooten are favorites--we have not received a hard frost (yet) so their favorite natural nectar sources are abundant. Continue to maintain 16 feeders throughout the habitat for guests who may be flying in from the North to visit our bed and breakfast. All the girls look vibrant and healthy. May they have a safe journey.
