Two hummers have been fighting over the 10 foot square patch of salvia in my front yard, oblivious to the small feeder in the front yard and the large feeder and smaller salvia patch in my back yard. Seems like quite a lot of energy wasted in fighting when they should be storing up energy for their long migration.
