humming bird flying around in our garage. green feather in back, that is about all i could tell. it was early in the morning about 7:30 AM he was flying around the lights. more neutral colors on it than anything, although the green feathers were on the back as well. i believe it was a female ruby-throated humming bird. because there are only three types in kentucky so i think it was a female ruby-throated. it didn't have a red throat, so i wasn't a male. but the back looked like a female with no red feathers whatsoever. it wasn't a rufos humming bird because it wasn't brown, or at least that color of brown. ~~~~~
