We had a brief visit from a migrant in the late afternoon. It visited flowers in my garden and on the deck but was not very familiar with the style of my feeder. She poked her break around the feeder, but seemed to be confused by the insect guard. I don't put the guard on in the spring, until residents are used to using the feeder. Maybe I need to removed it in the fall as well.
