After a night of thunderstorms Sunday was a sunny day with temps in the mid 60's and a strong west wind. During my five hours I spotted over 1000 dragonflies and damsal flies. They were very healthy and flying with a fury. At 4pm they started roosting in the pine trees with sunset at 7 pm.
