Once again a single Monarch was nectaring on the butterfly bushes in our front yard in downtown Toronto forat least a couple of hours. For the season it was a warm -22 C and sunny day. However, since we have had between 5-9 C at night for the past week, I am a bit surprised the Monarchs are still here. I guess they have warmer places to 'hide' overnight.
