Once again a single Monarch was nectaring for ~ 1h on the butterfly bushes in our yard in downtown Toronto. This is quite late in the season to be seeing Monarch butterflies in our yard. I am wondering if it is a retiree living out its last few good days with no thought of leaving for Mexico?
